Millwell Services Pty Ltd is based in Mooloolaba, South East Queensland, however, our Energy Queensland (EQL) accreditations allow us to operate Queensland-wide. Founded in 2003 by Peter Jansen, our mission began with a commitment to upgrading and enhancing the region’s electrical infrastructure, bringing quality, customer service and standards to the forefront.
Peter’s journey is a testament to passion and purpose. It commenced in 1976 when he embarked on his career as an electrical fitter mechanic at the Southern Electricity Authority of Queensland (SEAQ). Soon SEAQ transitioned into SEQEB which in turn transitioned into ENERGEX in 1997. Peter’s interests and skills evolved into a specialised focus in the field of Electrical Reticulation Mains Design within the organisations from 1980. Peter gained valuable experience as an Electrical Designer working for SEAQ, SEQEB and Energex until 2001.
In 2001, driven by a desire to make a difference in his community Peter took on the challenge to build a small business, whilst pursuing autonomy, and establish the business on the Sunshine Coast. Early collaborative ventures followed, including the founding of ACJT Energy Services, however upon the closure of ACJT Energy Services, Peter’s efforts focused on the growth of Millwell Services which showcased Peter’s unwavering dedication to his craft.
Millwell Services has thrived, fuelled by a dynamic team of administrators, designers, drafters, and contracted professionals, boasting over 80 years of collective experience in the electrical design, drafting, and construction realms. We are more than just a company – we are a community of experts committed to delivering quality project design services within the electricity supply industry.
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond mere compliance; we prioritize customer expectations and environmental sustainability in every project. From low voltage (LV) to 11kV and 33kV network modifications, rate 2 street lighting, to electricity reticulation of industrial estates and residential subdivisions, Millwell Services is at the forefront of bringing innovation and reliability to South East Queensland’s electrical network.
