Millwell Services aim to be a leading provider of network design services associated with electricity supply industry by providing a consistent and quality professional service with strict adherence to electricity authority procedures and safety guidelines, and with consideration for customer expectations and the environment.
We are able to conduct design services for any subdivision within the Energex electricity supply area. Based in Maroochydore (South East Queensland), Sunshine Coast Regional Council & Gympie Regional Council areas.
Our projects can fall within the Noosa Shire Council, Moreton Bay City Council, Brisbane City Council areas and we liaise with them on a regular basis.

Energex small lot subdivision design services
- Small Lot subdivision design to comply with Energex standards to obtain an Energex Certificate of Electricity Supply
- Liaise with NBN to obtain Telecommunications Provisioning Letter
Millwell Services is an Energex Work Category Quality Assurance (WQCA) rated provider of services for subdivision design.
Energex multi-stage lot subdivision design services
- Design and documentation to enable electrical supply to the proposed subdivision in accordance with Council DA Conditions
- Obtain Council Approval
- Liaise with NBN
- Obtain Energex Subdivider Supply Agreement Offer AND/OR Certificate of Supply
Preparation
- Calling of tenders for electrical reticulation works, tender evaluation and recommendation of an Energex rated Construct Service Provider
Ergon multi-stage lot subdivision designs services:
Millwell Services is included on the Ergon Approved Suppliers Register as an ‘A’ rated service provider working in Urban Residential Development (URD) – Underground Subdivisions.
- Design of the electrical conduit system and the Ergon owned electrical network in accordance with the Ergon Design brief for each new lot.
- Design of internal subdivision street lighting in accordance with Council requirements and Australian Standards (AS1158) in the public road areas affected by the subdivision.
- Obtain construction quotations for the electrical work from Ergon Rated Contractors and evaluation and recommendation of their tenders.
- Arrangement of a pre-start meeting between Ergon representatives and the construction
- Liaison with the Electrical Works Contractor during construction
Large Customer Connection Projects
- Overhead and underground electrical distribution network design for customers exceeding 100KVA
- Design and documentation to enable electrical supply to comply with Energex’s instructions
- Design to allow construction to comply with Energex standards and processes.
- Preparation and calling of tenders for electrical reticulation works, tender evaluation and recommendation of an Energex rated Construct Service Provider.
